This policy explains how the official Jaden Fahie Basketball recruiting website collects, uses, stores, and protects information submitted through its recruiting-interest form.
Information we collect
College coaches, recruiting professionals, and other authorized contacts may voluntarily provide a name, title, school or organization, email address, phone number, level of recruiting interest, and message. The website may also collect limited technical and campaign information, such as referral parameters, browser interactions, and analytics events, to understand website performance and recruiting outreach.
How we use information
Submitted information is used to receive, evaluate, organize, and respond to legitimate recruiting inquiries; maintain an appropriate recruiting-contact history; protect the form from abuse; and improve the website and recruiting process.
Google user data and Gmail
The backend uses the Gmail API only to send a notification to the authorized Jaden Fahie Basketball recruiting mailbox when a form is submitted. It does not use Gmail API access to read, modify, delete, or disclose mailbox messages. Google OAuth credentials are stored securely and are not placed in the public website or source repository.
Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable.
Storage and service providers
Recruiting inquiries are stored using Google Cloud services, including Cloud Run, Firestore, and Secret Manager. Information may be processed by service providers only as necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the recruiting-contact system. Personal information is not sold.
Retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for recruiting communication, recordkeeping, security, and legal obligations. Test submissions and information that is no longer needed may be deleted.
Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect submitted information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's information
The recruiting-interest form is intended for college coaches, recruiting professionals, parents or guardians, and other adults. It is not intended to collect personal information directly from children.
Your choices
You may request correction or deletion of information you submitted by contacting the recruiting mailbox below, subject to legitimate recordkeeping or legal requirements.
